Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes to customer specifications using various techniques and designs.
• Prepare and work with cake batters, icings, frostings, and filling ingredients.
• Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide guidance on design options.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the decorating area, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels for decorating supplies and request orders as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Possibly assist in baking cakes as needed, as well as support other team members in the bakery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cake decorating or a related role is essential.
• Strong artistic and creative skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of various decorating techniques and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
