Job Description

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS - HARTFORD, RED BANK, DANBURY, NYC

The role will be responsible for conducting stakeholder interviews, requirement workshops, leading backlog refinement sessions, interacting with Product Owners, end users, and other stakeholders to elicit, document and test new requirements, test and validate existing requirements and create new user stories. The Business Analyst will provide support to developers and testers and facilitate prioritization of user stories, having a strong understanding of the business intent and the ability to help the team build business and technical requirements to comprehensively cover the business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

5+ years of deep practical experience in the role, with repeated experience performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations.

Bachelor s degree in a relevant field.

A minimum of 3 years insurance industry experience is a must.

Strong written and oral communication skill with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audience.

Ability to write user stories

API's, SQL, Data/Process Mapping skills, Visio

Experience working on digital projects

Experience understanding integrations and data standards that develop quality documentation for data mapping documents and process flows.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and staff.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

Ability to structure and drive working sessions that promote collaboration, achieve synergy and attain desired outcomes.

Ability to effectively interact with all levels off the organization (i.e.: entry level end-user through to senior management) and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Experience working in a multi-source offshore delivery center and shared services environment is a plus.

Experienced in developing estimates and prioritizing deliverables.

Experience in Agile development including prioritizing, creating/updating features and stories, Behavior and Test Driven Development, etc.

Experience working as a member of a scrum team is required, experience with Scaled Agile framework is preferred.
