Job Description
Savan is looking for a skilled Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, technical writing, experience with reporting tools such as Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau, and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
Role Responsibilities - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data and reporting needs.
- Develop detailed business and technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user guides.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation for various audiences.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating reports and dashboards against source systems.
- Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users on the use of reports and dashboards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, technical writing, and reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of professional experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of reporting systems and technologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- U.S. Government Public Trust or the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience, relevant coursework, or Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau certification.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
- Experience in project administration or agile methodologies.
