Job Description

Our client is a CPA firm on the main line who is looking for a full charge bookkeeper with extensive experience in accounting/bookkeeping services (industry experience is preferred). This is a client facing role work with multiple clients concurrently. The ideal candidate need not be degreed, but well versed in all accounting operations including the responsibilities below:

• Salary: $65-$75K
• Hours: Flexible M-F (Hybrid) start between 8-10 am & work out the day; once fully trained
• Benefits: Package available
• Dress Code: Casual (professional when meeting clients)

Responsibilities:

• Data entry of income and expenses
  
• Reconciliation with bank statements
  
• Accounts receivable & Accounts Payable
  
• Journal entries
  
• Preparation of monthly reports
  
• Payroll and tax entries
  
• Credit card reviews and reconciliations
  
• Account analysis
• Depreciation and asset schedules
• Balance sheets, income and expense statements
• QuickBooks payroll and ADP Payroll systems
• Payroll tax returns, filing through E-Tides, W-2’s, and 1099’s
• Sales tax

Requirements:

• QuickBooks, QuickBooks Pro, QuickBooks Premier, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Enterprise and Desktop
• Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat
• Attention to detail and accuracy, Able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines, Great interpersonal and customer service skills
• Previous experience in a CPA or outsourced accounting firm is preferred
