Job Description

System One has partnered with a local company that is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join their team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and utilizing QuickBooks online to manage financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general ledger accounts, solid knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently as a self starter. This individual must possess excellent problem solving skills and be able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis
• Utilize QuickBooks online to input and track financial transactions
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any accounting issues
• Provide support to management with financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required 
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks online and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounts and accounting principles
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented and organized

Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-4pm
