Part-Time Bookkeeper Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is seeking a part-time bookkeeper. Our parish maintains a long-standing Catholic tradition and is overseen by the Diocese of Charleston. Our mission is to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the local community and to the world. Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities Include: Cash Receipts: Posting bank deposits, reconciling errors and posting to the general ledger using Sylogist Accounting software. Accounts Payable: Verify, code and input invoices. Prepare and process checks. Payroll: Process bi-weekly using ADP and process payroll journal entries. Reconciliations: Bank, credit cards and sales tax reconciliations. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present the required monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including annual budget. Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Thursday between 8 to10 hours per week, flexible schedule. Hours may increase during month/year end financial reporting. Education, Experience and Requirements: Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience required Knowledge of ADP, Dynamics 365 and Sylogist highly preferred Experience with processing quarterly sale and use tax.
