The primary function of a bookkeeper is to keep accurate records of financial transactions, monitor accounts, and prepare monthly statements and financial reports Responsibilities: The primary function of a bookkeeper is to keep accurate records of financial transactions, monitor accounts, and prepare monthly statements and financial reports Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment Acts as liaison between corporate and branch accounts payable departments Answers all vendor inquiries Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files Provides support to accounting team during month-end closing Prepares analysis of accounts, as required Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies and issues Follows and maintains the AP cycle Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions Resolves customer questions and disputes Qualifications: Entry level – minimal experience required Strong Microsoft office skills Demonstrated knowledge of general bookkeeping practices Embody the principles of servant leadership, even in a non-people management role, by putting the needs of others first, valuing diverse perspectives by sincerely appreciating and considering others’ opinions and ideas and demonstrating a positive and humble attitude Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed, while also collaborating with others to get the job done Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 80% of the time Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability & Life Insurance Wellness Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Paid Holidays & Vacation Days Professional Growth Opportunities Development & Training Programs
