Job Description

Job Title: Bench Sales Recruiter Job Summary:

The Bench Sales Recruiter is responsible for marketing and placing the company's bench consultants with clients and other project opportunities. This role involves sourcing and identifying job openings, matching candidates' skills to clients' requirements, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with both consultants and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consultant Placement:
    • Actively market and place bench consultants with clients in a timely manner.
    • Understand the skills, experiences, and aspirations of bench consultants and identify suitable job opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of job opportunities with key clients.
  • Client and Candidate Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and hiring managers.
    • Coordinate with recruiters, account managers, and clients to understand the requirements for open positions.
    • Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and technical assessments as required.
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Proactively engage in business development activities, identifying new opportunities for bench consultants.
    • Negotiate and finalize contracts between the company and clients.
    • Promote the skills and capabilities of bench consultants to potential clients.
  • Negotiation and Communication:
    • Negotiate compensation, benefits, and other terms between consultants and clients.
    • Ensure smooth communication between clients and consultants during the placement process.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of candidates, placements, and job requirements.
    • Prepare regular reports on bench utilization and sales pipeline.
  • Market Research and Networking:
    • Stay informed about the latest trends in the IT and staffing industry.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to stay connected with potential clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in bench sales recruiting or IT staffing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to source and place candidates for a variety of technical roles.
  • Knowledge of IT technologies and the ability to understand job requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Background in IT / Non IT staffing or consulting services.
  • Familiarity with visa processes (H1B, OPT, etc.).
Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
