Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Behavior Specialist to provide clinical and case management to behavior technicians and clients/families under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Why Join Maxim: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, Life Insurance, HSA and PTO + 401(k) savings plan + Maxcares Awards Program Responsibilities: + Develops goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA + Oversees the work of Behavior Technicians as assigned by Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) or Operations Leader + Conducts face-to-face case and Behavior Technician supervision for assigned caseload + Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in behavioral and skill acquisition assessments + Trains Behavior Technicians in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior + intervention plans and skill acquisition goals. + Trains families, caregivers, and school staff in implementation of behavior change plans including + behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals. + Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in updating behavior change plans including current progress on + behavior goals and skill acquisition goals + Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness of behavioral programs under the supervision of the + Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) + Conducts clinical interviews and participates in hiring decisions in collaboration with Clinical + Manager-Behavioral or other office clinical leader + Facilitates the orientation process, competency and skills validation process for behavioral direct care + staff + May conduct skill enhancement training for behavioral caregivers + Provides behavioral services to children with autism or other behavioral disorders as outlined in the + behavioral change plan + Participates in office and clinical quality initiative activities + Accountable to all federal, state, local contracts and programs, and Maxim requirements + Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: Must meet at least one of the following educational requirements: + A master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or similar degree when allowed by state or program. + Bachelor's degree and BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) + Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst, when applicable by state + At least one year of experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or other related disorders + At least one year of experience in providing behavior analytic services in home, school, or community settings + At least be enrolled in approved BACB courses and preparing for BCBA exam + Ability to effectively communicate with appropriate individuals (including, but no limited to co-workers, supervisors, clients) + Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) required + Current CPR/BLS certification + At least 18 years of age + Excellent communication skills + Proficiency in the English language required Maxim Benefits: Health and Wellness Medical/Prescription, Dental, Vision, Health Advocacy (company paid if enrolled Medical) and Health Advocate Employee Assistance Program Retirement and Financial Security: Health Savings Account, 401(k), Short Term Disability, Voluntary Group Life Insurance and Supplemental Accidental Insurance, Hospital Expense Protection Plan, Critical Illness Insurance, Home and Auto Insurance discounts, Pet Insurance and Legal Benefits Lifestyle Benefits: Paid Time Off, Employee Discount Program, Transportation Benefits and College Partnership Program *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
