Essential Functions:

• Ensuring equipment and area is in clean and safe working order.
• Setting up chairs, umbrellas and volleyball courts as needed.
• Maintain proper care, use and inventory control of all beach equipment.
• Assisting the Recreation Department activities.

Supportive Functions:

• Act in a courteous, helpful and efficient manner when dealing with guests and owners.
• Make sure equipment, beach area and personal appearance are neat and clean.
• Be knowledgeable of the beach area and surrounding areas (Restaurants, Activities) in order to convey information to the guests.
• Team Player with a positive attitude

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

• Must be able to tolerate environmental conditions, sometimes extreme.
• Knowledge of sports, ability to swim required.
• Must have good eyesight and hearing.
• Enjoy and support Hotel guests as well as other employees.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working strenuously.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, carry, reach, bend and twist.

Experience: Prior guest services/ beach services are preferred. Other: Due to the seasonal and business nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
