Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation with specific experience in securities litigation and commercial litigation. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse cases while contributing to the success of the firm and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload involving securities litigation, regulation, and commercial litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents with attention to detail.
  • Prepare for trials, mediations, and hearings, including the development of strategies and case management plans.
  • Conduct depositions and discovery, ensuring compliance with federal and state rules of civil procedure.
  • Engage in client interactions to understand their needs and provide effective problem resolution solutions.
  • Monitor and track billable hours, maintaining compliance with firm standards and expectations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy development and execution.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance legal skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado Bar or eligibility for admission.
  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in securities and commercial litigation.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, with demonstrated experience in drafting summary judgment and dispositive motions.
  • Proficient understanding of federal and state rules of civil procedure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on client interaction and problem resolution.
  • Experience in managing case documentation, discovery processes, and trial preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong project management skills.
