Job Description

Our client, a well respected contractor in the area is looking for an energetic team focused individual to join their team as an Assistant Project Manager.

The Assistant Project Manager will provide overall on-site administrative and technical management on construction projects. CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification are a benefit

Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities:

* Assist Project Manager and General Superintendent with project tasks
* Generate and document RFI's and submittals
* Assist with project planning, scheduling, and implementation
* Assist with project cost management including buyout, invoicing, and monthly cost reports
* Ensure projects are built to contract plans and specifications and preform project quality inspections.
* Review and approve daily field logs
* Maintain and distribute project documents for multiple projects.
* Communicate professionally and effectively with project teams, general contractors, engineers, and owners

Assistant Project Manage r Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering desired
* Minimum 1-5 years of construction experience as an Assistant Project Manager or equivalent
* Knowledge of principals, methods, and standards of the designated trade's area
* Experience in the use and methods of tools and equipment commonly employed with the trade
* Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
* Performs work in accordance with standards and specifications
