Job Description

Davey Plumbing Co is looking for a qualified Assistant Project Manager.
Compensation based on experience.

Assistant Project Manager Qualification:

• 1-5 years of assistant project management experience in the construction field 
• Strong familiarity with construction management software tools and Microsoft Office suite of products
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills 
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Ability to assist and constructions teams both in the field and office
• Ability to form and maintain relationships with vendor, suppliers, and general contractors to ensure company reputation is in good standing and future jobs are secured
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold
• Positively represent Davey Plumbing Co. at all times

Assistant Project Manager Description:

• Assisting Project Managers, Estimators, Purchasing Agent, Foremen, and office personnel to ensure project goals are reached 
• Daily verbal and written communication with PM’s, Foremen, Suppliers, and Superintendents 
• Process Time and Materials (T&M’s) and Change Orders (CO’s) immediately
• Follow-up on T&M’s and change orders until issued
• Strong written documentation to guarantee all aspects of the job are as contractually agreed. Should any aspect of the job deviate from contractual agreement, then it must be documented in writing and placed in job file
• Provide progress updates to internal staff on a regular basis
• Ensure all aspects of the job hit financial targets
• Work on projects and complete tasks as assigned and within appropriate timelines
• Will be required to work in the field and office as directed 
• Ability to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
