Job Description: We are currently seeking an
Assistant Driller for our
Ferris, TX shop.

What You'll Do: - Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
- Support all aspects of Arcosa's exploration drilling and mineral sampling processes.
- Assist with setting up drilling equipment, connecting, and disconnecting drill pipe, clearly communicating drill depths to drill operator, and collection samples.
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on all equipment.
- Drive company vehicles including pickup trucks and commercial vehicles between project sites.
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need: - Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
- Ability travel and occasionally work through weekends
- Complete Arcosa's Part 46 New Miner Training
- CDL preferred or acquire CDL within 6 months of hire
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 ponds
- The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No experience required, on the job training
- To be trainable as a drill operator overtime
- Working Conditions and physical environment: While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
