Analytical Chemist Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG , a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Scientist for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Jacksonville, FL. As a Scientist placed with Kelly OCG you will be responsible for the following: Subject matter expert within the Analytical Chemistry department.
Length of assignment: One year may extend
Location: Jacksonville FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Hourly Pay Rate: $46-$48 Responsibilities: - Create new processes and methods.
- Design experiments using appropriate analytical methodologies. Act as a project accountable or team leader.
- Present data and conclusions with appropriate analysis. Initiate and write technical reports with minimal supervision.
- Adheres to quality/compliance and environmental policies and procedures and supports department objectives. subject matter expert within the Analytical Chemistry department.

- Develop and troubleshoot new analytical methods on HPLC, GC and other instrumentation for purposes of new supplier qualification, material selection/qualification, and production material investigations.
- Validate newly developed methods.
- Mentors junior scientists.
QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum education required for competent performance: Bachelor s Degree - Chemistry or equivalent with experience in a regulated environment
- Minimum experience number of month/years and type of work experience beyond formal education required for competent performance: 7+ years of experience in research and development with BS Degree. 5+ years of experience in research and development with MS Degree. 2+ years of experience in research and development with PhD.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, and practices of Analytical Chemistry
- Strong hands on analytical experience with HPLC and GC using USP Methods.
- Project employee will provide scientific services for the Analytical Chemistry department.
- Project employee will create new test methods and validate test methods as needed. Will design experiments using appropriate analytical methodologies.
