About The Role

As an Advanced Mill-Turn Technician, your expertise will bridge the gap between engineering ideals and tangible aerospace components. Your duties are a symphony of precision, from interpreting blueprints to the meticulous setup and operation of advanced CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate blueprints into high-tolerance dimensions for aerospace parts.
• Expertly configure and operate machines using Mazak, Fanuc, and Siemens CNC controls.
• Conduct thorough first article (FA) inspections and make necessary adjustments promptly.
• Work on CNC Mills ranging from 3 to 5 axis, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Collaborate seamlessly with programmers to streamline setup and enhance productivity.
• File detailed inspection reports and document essential quality data meticulously.
• Engage in preventative maintenance to ensure continuous optimal machine performance.
• Communicate effectively with different departments to maintain workflow harmony.
• Share your mastery by training peers, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized workspace through 5S initiatives.
• Keep track of tasks and time using our ERP systems to ensure effective management.

Skills & Expertise

• Mastery in troubleshooting and CNC programming.
• Proficient in machine setups tailored for varying production runs.
• Strong understanding of shop math and blueprint interpretation.

Technological Tools

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), leveraging Fanuc, Mazak for optimal performance.
• CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC), employing Fanuc, Mazak technologies.
