Job Description

As one of the vital components of our manufacturing landscape, the CNC Machinist delivers unparalleled craftsmanship during the third shift hours. Your role is to autonomously handle and operate advanced CNC Lathe and Mill machinery.

Your Day Includes:

• Organize and prepare machines using detailed engineering guides.
• Calibrate the machines, ensuring the first piece matches blueprint standards.
• Oversee parts verification and quality checks.
• Engage in full-scale production once parts are validated.
• Establish and refine production objectives for optimal efficiency and impeccable quality.
• Perform ongoing inspections during machine cycles to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, charts, and certifications.
• Promote safety and cleanliness throughout all processes.
• Log completed tasks and status updates in ERP platforms.
• Sync with Engineering and Quality Control to affirm regulatory compliance.

Extra Responsibilities:

• Contribute to ongoing Lean and improvement schemes across the organization.
• Partake in supplementary tasks and roles as necessary.
• Engage in obligatory training and safety programs.
• Observe the Company’s EHS mandates and specific safety practices, including PPE adherence.

Qualifications Required:

• Specialized CNC machining experience spanning 4-7 years, aerospace industry favored.
• Mastery in CNC machine setup and precise execution.
• Exceptional blueprint reading skills.
• Physical demands include extended duration standing and managing up to 40 lbs.
• Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company.
• Undergo necessary health assessments applicable to job duties and workspace.
• Adaptability for physical movement and tool handling as required by assignments.

Academic Achievements:

• High school completion or its equivalent.
• Formal apprenticeship training; journeyman credentials favored.
