Join our team at Lighthouse Rehab as an Activities Assistant. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services Full-Time position - Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Same Day Pay! Responsibilities of Activities Assistant : Facilitating daily, weekly and monthly events to encourage socialization and recreation for facility residents Observing residents throughout the event and assisting with coloring, crafts, and other needs Reporting medical concerns to supervisors if needed Crafting, coloring, decorating, playing games, etc. Qualifications for Activities Assistant: Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required Prior recreation/activities experience in a nursing home with dementia experience preferred. An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served. High School Diploma or GED.
