MEMCO is hiring experienced Acoustical Ceiling/Drywall Installers in Atlanta, GA!

Pay: $20 - $25/hr based on prior construction experience

• Benefits:  Limited Health Care Plan available after 30 days of employment
• Shift: 7-5pm; Monday-Friday

Job Overview :

MEMCO is hiring experienced Stilt-Walking Ceiling Installers to install drywall, framing, and ceiling systems. Must have stilt-walking experience and the ability to work from heights while following safety and quality standards . Physical stamina and blueprint reading skills are required.

Responsibilities :

• Read blueprints to determine installation methods, materials, and tools needed
• Hang drywall on walls and ceilings, cutting and fitting as required
• Patch drywall to remove seams and fill gaps
• Install metal framing, decorative trim, and insulation
• Measure, mark, and cut framing, drywall, and trim accurately
• Assemble and install studs, headers, and block-outs for doors, windows, and vents
• Ensure walls and ceilings are level, plumb, and meet structural requirements
• Install access panels, flashing, and fire/sound caulking as needed
• Work safely from heights, using stilts, ladders, or lifts.

Requirements :

• Experience walking on stilts
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of fire-rated assemblies and local building codes
• Familiarity with fall protection systems and working at heights
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position.
