Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a part-time position with the potential for long-term employment that offers flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to a growing organization specializing in manufacturing and distribution. The role involves managing accounts payable functions, entering bills into QuickBooks, and ensuring accuracy in financial data. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be required to work around 10-20 hours a week. This position offers a hybrid flexible work schedule. Must be local to the Huntsville area to be considered for this position. Responsibilities: - Record and input bills into QuickBooks with precision and attention to detail. - Handle accounts payable tasks, focusing on payments for utilities and supplies. - Perform basic data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel while maintaining accuracy. - Support cleanup and organization efforts within QuickBooks to ensure streamlined processes. - Collaborate with the international-based accounting team to align financial operations. - Maintain a thorough understanding of company billing procedures and assist with improvements as needed. - Provide assistance with accounts receivable tasks if required in the future Requirements - Previous experience working with QuickBooks Online is essential. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all accounting processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic calculations. - Ability to work independently and manage part-time hours effectively. - Familiarity with accounts payable processes and related tasks. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Experience in maintaining and reconciling financial records.
