MERIT BRASS is currently hiring for multiple Full-time and Part Time Manufacturing Positions! Work Hours:

• 2 nd Shift Monday -Friday (3:00PM-11:30PM)
• Part-time 2 nd Shift Monday-Friday (7:00PM- 11:00PM)

Hourly Rate:

• Starting at $19.26 (Includes 10% Shift Premium)

Responsibilities:

• Verify part being produced against traveler ticket (material, diameter, thread type, etc.)
• Follow procedures to effectively start and end production jobs using the data collection system.
• Perform constant visual quality inspection (torn threads, crooked threads, etc.)
• Perform Quality Inspection while using the QI form.
• Oversee loading and unloading of parts to prevent mixing of mill and heat numbers on stainless steel material.
• Complete other responsibilities that may be assigned as needed or  required.

Requirements:

• Excellent work habits including punctuality, attendance, and work  ethic.
• Able to stand and bend for the entire shift. Capable of lifting 50-70 lbs. frequently, pushing and pulling bulky material and carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
• No High School Diploma or GED required.
