POSITION:
Freedom Classical Academy is excited to announce that we are building a Teacher Pool for potential openings in our intermediate classrooms (grades 3-5) for the 2025-2026 school year . We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who are passionate about fostering a love for learning and creating engaging, impactful classroom experiences.

Our grades 3-5 classrooms are departmentalized , meaning that students rotate between different subject-area teachers. We are looking for talented educators to teach in the following areas:

• STEM (Science and Math): Teachers who are passionate about inspiring curiosity and problem-solving in both science and mathematics.
• Humanities (ELA and History): Teachers who are dedicated to developing strong literacy skills and fostering a love for reading, writing, and historical inquiry.

Freedom Classical Academy is a K-8 charter school specializing in a unique blend of STEM and classical education. We are seeking a limited number of great elementary teachers to join us for the 2025-26 school year.

FOUR DAY SCHOOL WEEK . Our school has a four-day school week. Our teachers will work Monday through Thursday with one Friday a month dedicated to professional development and PLC teams. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Manage student behavior, ensuring respect, cooperation, and adherence to school rules.
• Plan, prepare, and execute daily lessons, assignments, and educational activities.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and critical thinking.
• Track and analyze student progress, providing timely feedback on academic and behavioral issues.
• Identify students’ individual learning needs and provide extra support or accommodations where necessary.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators regarding student progress, school activities, and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other documentation.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, both in and out of the classroom.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to create a cohesive and effective learning environment.
• Participate in student pick-up or drop-off, as assigned.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by school administration, such as supervising extracurricular activities or assisting with school-wide initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 
Qualified applicants must:

• Have a NV teacher's certificate for Elementary Education (K-8).
• Have a willingness to learn and improve.
