About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated physician to provide professional services to residents in skilled nursing facilities. This is a 1099 contractor role that is primarily remote, requiring only 1-2 onsite visits per month to facilities located in Henry, Marshall, and Robinson, Illinois. You will act as a Medical Director, providing medical and procedural consultation, advising on resident care programs, and collaborating with facility staff to ensure the highest quality of care.
What You'll Do:
Provide medical and procedural consultation to residents, adhering to all applicable policies, laws, rules, and regulations.
Advise the Facility Administrator on concerns and opportunities related to the facility's scope of services and future resident care programs, medical equipment, and staffing needs.
Be available to the facility 24/7 for emergencies.
Attend monthly QA and/or QAPI meetings (at least 10 months per year).
Assist in developing clinical pathways to improve resident care.
Support facility marketing efforts as requested.
Collaborate with other attending physicians to ensure the highest quality of care for residents and patients.
What You'll Bring:
Medical degree and licensure to practice medicine.
Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or with geriatric populations is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of relevant regulations and best practices in long-term care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
